Cook Consulting was originally formed by Justin Cook, P.E. in 1996 as an outlet to serve the engineering and small construction projects undertaken outside of his full time job, then with the City of Tulsa's Engineering Department. After his time with The City of Tulsa followed by time at The City of Broken Arrow, Justin left his position to open Cook & Associates Engineering, Inc., a civil engineering design firm. It was there that Cook Consulting was reorganized to include three managing members: Jon Burns, Justin Cook, and Tom Martin so as to serve the constrution needs of the engineering firm and its clientele. Over the years Cook Consulting has significantly expanded its capabilities and now is involved in all phases of civil construction including site development, municipal infrastructure improvements and construction, rural water district construction and maintenance, and residential subdivision work. Cook Consulting has contracted with multiple general contractors including Flintco, Oakridge, Key Construction, Daniels and Daniels, Dooley Mack, Crossland Constructiun, Thomas Construction among others as well as municipalities including The Cities of Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Bixby, Collinsville, Coweta, Glenpool, Sand Springs, Sperry and others, multiple rural water districts/municiple authorities/public works authorities, the Turnpike Authority/ODOT and private developers. And on projects funded by federal funds, grants, CDBG, OWRB, etc. With our growth Cook Consulting has established a bond line underwritten by Mid-continent Casualty and carries a compliment of insurance polocies including a general liability and umbrella policy as well required policies such as auto and workmen’s comp coverage and can provide OCP policies and meet other special requirements as needed. Cook Consulting owns a fleet of construction equipment suitable to our work capacity and also has established credit lines with most of the local and national equipment dealers and suppliers to supplement our fleet as needed. Flexibility in our operations and a variety of complimentary skill sets among management has given Cook Consulting the opportunity to successfully complete projects with greatly varying complexities.
